LHA7904

The LHA7904 is an I²C-compatible, 12-bit high-precision, low-power analog-to-digital converter (ADC), available in compact DFN-10 and MSOP-10 packages. The LHA7904 integrates a low-drift voltage reference and an internal oscillator, alongside a programmable gain amplifier (PGA) and a digital comparator. Combined with its wide operating supply voltage range, these features make the LHA7904 ideal for sensor measurement applications with strict power and space constraints. The LHA7904 performs conversions at data rates up to 3994 samples per second (SPS). Its PGA supports input ranges from ±64 mV to ±6.144 V, enabling accurate measurement of both small and large amplitude signals. An integrated input multiplexer (MUX) supports measurement of two differential input pairs or four single-ended inputs. The built-in digital comparator can be utilized for undervoltage and overvoltage detection. The LHA7904 supports two operating modes: Continuous Conversion Mode and Single-Shot Mode. In Single-Shot Mode, the device automatically powers down after completing one conversion, drastically reducing power draw during idle periods.
