LHA9932
The LHA9932 is a high-performance, single-chip analog-to-digital converter (ADC). The device integrates a low-noise Programmable Gain Amplifier (PGA), a Δ-Σ modulator and digital filters.
The dual-channel multiplexer supports switching between external input signal measurement and internal ADC test signals. A dedicated mode shorts the input circuitry for internal noise testing. With high input impedance and low noise performance, the PGA can be directly connected to sensors such as geophones and hydrophones.
The fourth-order modulator delivers superior low-noise and linearity performance. The modulator output is filtered and decimated by on-chip digital filters to produce ADC conversion results. The digital filters support data rates ranging from 250 SPS to 64000 SPS. The integrated High-Pass Filter (HPF) features programmable corner frequency. On-chip gain and offset trim registers enable system-level calibration. The synchronization input controls the timing of ADC conversions, while the shutdown input places the ADC into shutdown mode.
The LHA9932 is housed in a compact 28-lead TSSOP-28 package. Its full rated operating temperature range is –40 °C to +125 °C, and the absolute maximum operating temperature range is –50 °C to +125 °C.
