LHA8951F
The LHA8951 is an 18-bit successive approximation register (SAR) analog-to-digital converter (ADC) operating from a single supply (VDD). It integrates a low-power high-speed 18-bit sampling ADC and a versatile serial interface port. On the rising edge of CNV, the LHA8951 samples the differential voltage between the IN+ and IN- pins; the voltage swings on these pins are typically complementary between 0 V and VREF. The reference voltage (REF) is supplied externally and can operate independently of the analog supply VDD. Power consumption varies linearly with throughput rate.
The SPI-compatible serial interface uses the SDI input to daisy-chain multiple ADCs onto a 3-wire bus, with an optional busy status indicator. A separate VIO supply rail enables logic-level compatibility with 1.8 V, 2.5 V, 3 V, and 5 V host logic.
The LHA8951 is available in 10-lead MSOP and 10-lead 3 mm × 3 mm QFN packages, with an operating temperature range of -40 °C to +125 °C.
